What an AI assistant can access
Can and cannot
| The assistant can | The assistant cannot |
|---|---|
| Search the catalog and show watermarked previews | See anything about your account when searching — search is public and anonymous |
| Download full-resolution files as you, spending your quota or free downloads | Download without your consent; you approve the connection once, on our site |
| See your account email, plan, subscription status, downloads used, remaining monthly free downloads, renewal date | See your payment details or download history |
| Re-download something you already own, for free | Charge you, change your plan, or delete anything |
| Be disconnected at any time, from your account page | Do anything with your account once you have disconnected it |
How to disconnect
Go to Account → Settings → Connected apps and choose Disconnect next to the assistant.
Disconnecting takes effect immediately — the next thing the assistant tries to do with your account will fail. Its access token names the connection you just removed, and every call it makes is checked against the connections you still have. Searching and previews keep working, the way they do for anyone: publicly and anonymously, with nothing tied to you.
Disconnecting never affects images you have already licensed. Those stay yours under the terms in force when you downloaded them.
A note on data
Searches made through an assistant are logged the same way searches made on the site are: anonymously, to see which queries return nothing useful, with no link to your account. Downloads are recorded against your account exactly as a download on the site is, because that is what your license record is built from.
